Our Vision:
Curated to offer a unique and elegant experience that touches and engages the body and all its senses. Our shop tells a story and offers our guests a chance to tell their own with choosing a candle or body fragrance of their choice. We were inspired to get people back together, sharing time and space together. Our desire for guests to slowly shop, to browse, start conversations and reawaken memories through the power of scent. We wanted to create a space to learn from our guests what inspires them, how they unleash their creativity and more importantly how they Seize the Night!
Carpe Noctem is where you make extraordinary experiences out of the ordinary objects in your home.
Carpe Noctem Candle Co was founded in 2020, during a time when the world was closed and time for hobbies was prevalent. From what started out in the kitchen, quickly made its way to Main Street. Our first store was in our town, Stillwater, MN. Sarah Moslemi, along with the help of her husband + partner in many business ventures, created this unique shop in the heart of this historical river town. When meeting Nikki Ferraro, who fell in love with the store while visiting Minnesota, a connection was made bonding over delicious smelling candles and aligning with products that are made from wholesome and healthy ingredients, Nikki and Sarah partnered and opened the Las Vegas location in 2023.
It’s nice to meet you,
Carpe Noctem

Our candles are a reminder to slow down, escape into the quietude of the night as you let the slow burn of a flickering flame illuminate your environment. Let the unique and luxurious aroma of our fragrant candles bring you to a space of peace and joy.
However, over time, Carpe Noctem was adopted by those souls that shined brightest when the night sky and illuminating stars came out to play. They believe one should '“live the night like there’s no tomorrow;” to play, to dance, to dare and to love well into the morning light…
